There’s a familiar calm
An air to the breeze
A gentle fall fade
As petals lilt free

From leaf to lace
Sunsets to dawn
Earth’s roots stretch
A wilting long yawn

Curling and snuggling
Into the dirt
Crunching to pieces
With worms soon to flirt
